Community Events
At St. Clare and St. Francis Holy Name Society, located in The Bronx, New York, we are dedicated to promoting reverence for the name of Jesus through various community events. Join us in our mission to serve our neighbors and bring people closer to God.
Our Events
We host a variety of events throughout the year, including the Christmas Giving Tree, the Big Deal Lenten Fund Raiser, the Parish School Religious Award ceremony, and a collection of baby needs for the Sisters of Life. These events are designed to engage our community and provide support where it's needed most.
Addressing Community Needs
We recognize the importance of bringing people to the Church and promoting fellowship within our community. Our events aim to address these needs by creating opportunities for connection, spiritual growth, and mutual support among our members and neighbors.
Promotion and Outreach
We primarily promote our community events through the parish Sunday Bulletin. Additionally, we utilize the local newspaper to announce our events whenever possible, which has proven to be an effective way to reach a broader audience in The Bronx.
